Energy Market Trends and Purchasing
The energy market has evolved from a wholesale pool buying arrangement to a spots and futures market. Customers are now offered a range of choices by suppliers. ERS Energy is an offspring of the UK government deregulation of the power utilities in the late Nineties. The company drew most of its experiences and core experienced experts from the 16 newly deregulated Generators, Distributors and Suppliers of Electricity and Gas utilities companies, and the newly formed utilities companies in the UK deregulated market from 1996. Suffice it to say, ERS Energy has a wealth of experience in the field of power generation, distribution and supply. ERS Energy was ostensibly created as a "One-Stop Energy Shop" offering Energy sourcing, brokerage, advisory and consultancy services to a range of private and public institutions seeking competitive advantage in their commercial undertakings. There exists in house specialisation covering the gamut of energy sourcing, procurement and distribution across the energy spectrum of electricity, gas and solar through to Crude Oil and related products (AGO, D2, Mazut 100-75, JP54 etc).
Since the inception of competitive supply in the Energy sector in the UK, ERS Energy has assiduously - but with strategic intent - worked to amass invaluable data on a range of information relating to energy procurement (supply) and the key operators behind power generation and distribution across the UK.
Understandably there is a desire to balance the twin requirements of cost-effective energy consumption with combating the negative effect of carbon emissions. Commercial energy consumers are casting their nets wider in a quest to achieve supply sustainability coupled with security, hopefully at an accpetable price. Indeed, the cost of energy and the environmental impact of its exploration and usage have been excercising the minds of energy producers and consumers alike ad infinitum.
In today's economy where busine

ELECTRICITY
The primary aim of the electricity supply system is to meet the customer’s demands for energy. Thus for efficient supply to be achieved these are three main facets that require to be addressed independently. An ideal outcome is for Generation to match demand. Otherwise in the absence of the latter, rationing or even worse still power outage, could result leading to customers dissatisfaction and in turn damage to public relations. Thus, an optimised and well maintained Distribution Network is a sine-qua-non towards delivery of projected outputs to meet customer expectations.
CRUDE OIL
A fundamental requirement of any Crude Oil and Crude Oil related products trade transaction is to build a tent to bring Seller and Buyer together to engage in serious business. Typically, the Seller would be in possession of a mandate to sell on behalf of the Supplier. Invariably the Buyer has a mandate onbehalf of a Buyer. ERS Energy, over a period of time now, has been able to bring together Sellers and Buyers under one tent to do business.

SOLAR ENERGY
Solar system harnesses the sun’s rays to generate electricity energy to provide lighting and heating: Photovoltaic technology operates by producing modules used in the conversion. Africa tropical climate which generates reliably constant sunlight renders its ideal for harnessing solar energy. Sustainability is the watch-word for future energy production. Thus the only viable approach is to maximise system efficiency and to utilise a wide arrays of resources encompassing relatively unpredictable renewable resources such as wind and solar system.
GAS
Gas is a naturally-occurring energy resource. And due to its explosive characteristic requires a robust containment in the form of quite rugged and extensive piping network, from source to storage. There is no significant value addition in its refinement; only safety consideration is paramount in its transportation to user terminals as end product. The focus on natural gas relates to its more rational use which offers the twin advantage of ease of regulation and convenience for domestic usage.

Commitment to Reduction of Carbon Emission:
Presently, the over reliance on fossil-fuel based energy sources to generate power is also generating heated debates World-wide, hence the quest for renewable energy which offers the twin benefits of sustainability and“clean “ technology. It is universally acknowledge that carbon emission from fossil-fuel is damaging the environment. In reality, methane gas emanating from Cows is vastly greater and more damaging than man-made systems. However it is politically expedient to overlook the Cow-generated gas and, instead penalise humans by levying charges on businesses.
