The primary aim of the electricity supply system is to meet the customer’s demands for energy. Thus for efficient supply to be achieved these are three main facets that require to be addressed independently. An ideal outcome is for Generation to match demand. Otherwise in the absence of the latter, rationing or even worse still power outage, could result leading to customers dissatisfaction and in turn damage to public relations. Thus, an optimised and well maintained Distribution Network is a sine-qua-non towards delivery of projected outputs to meet customer expectations.
